About

Being raised by an Oscar winning actress certainly was a Hollywood Beginning; I’m still looking for my Hollywood Ending! That means lots of dining out and I always have an opinion. After all I didn’t spend four years of my life in the frozen tundra of Upstate New York at Cornell’s Hotel School to miss out on reviewing a meal.

Now, I should warn you, I don’t do sushi. Get over it. My folks were progressive, I was sashimied to death (sushi’s cousin) at the age of thirteen. Hey, my Mom’s favorite dessert was Jello and Bill Cosby hadn’t even heard of it yet! So yes, I talk about food and I’m honest, not always nice.

And movies, well, of course. I’ve always thought that all my life lacked was the right theme song or score: www.MyLifeAdventures.com. Hmm, still looking and listening. And, my godmother, the grand dame of costume design Edith Head, did teach me a thing or two about costumes and image. Movies are microcosms of life and you can learn a lot if you aren’t hiding under your coat at Jaws or Psycho!

And oh what a set design can say about a character. Didn’t you know your home is your external heart, and each time you open your door, you reveal your true self. Time to hire a designer, don’t you think? www.TodayByDesign.com
