“Fever Pitch” - Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon

This was fun and a wonderful romantic comedy. Barrymore has really grown into her talented legacy and is refreshing and lively. Fallon is charming and quirky. This gives hope in spades, the ultimate compromises for true love. I could even learn to enjoy baseball and this from a confirmed non-sports fan.

“Cinderella Man” - Russell Crowe, Renee Zellweger, Paul Giamatti

Wow! Off-the-charts fantastic. This will get the Oscar for best picture, best actor, and best supporting actor. Crowe is exceptional in this everyman role. He displays an intense sense of pride, ethics, and just honest truth. I loved it. Zellweger is wonderfully supporting. Giamatti steals his scenes with his quiet pleasantness, his almost unnoticed chivalry. While the boxing was superior, it was very bloody and hard to watch. But the heart of the movie is unbeatable. Larger than life… I was so charged up after watching it, yahoo!
